November 2020 Challenge: "Cold"

"Sudden Blizzard" 9x12" Acrylic on Watercolor paper by Kelley Carey MacDonald
There are many layers of paint and marks on this piece.  I was thinking of the snowstorm we had right before Halloween - no one was prepared - not even the trees.

“Ghost Deer” 12”x16” acrylic by Victoria Chesley Brega
“ Our first snow this winter, an unusual pie bald doe appeared in my back yard, luminous,
beautiful, and rare, known locally as The Ghost Deer.”

"Cool Reflections" 18"X30" pastel on manmade paper
"Cold Storage Beach" 8X10 oil on panel by Jeanne MacFarland

"P is for Popsicle" I've been making an alphabet series- squeezing it in between the cooking and commissions!

"Baby, It's Cold Outside" 6 x 6 oil by Pamela Copeman

"Snow and Shadows" ink & watercolor 9 x 12 by Jody Regan

The light through the snowy pines across the street is cool and warm at the same time.  I love it.

"Cold One" Acrylic on Paper by Paula Villanova
This one is kind of a study for bigger painting. It was a scene from a fun place during the summer of 2019 when we were still dining and drinking inside of restaurants and bars.

"Hot and Cold", 30"x30" Acrylic by Page Pearson Railsback
