The wind drove me away from painting by the water the other day, and so I drove around searching for a spot- until found refuge in this lovely, quiet cemetery where my stepfather's ashes are and he has a stone.
Cemeteries are a peaceful place to be.
I am committing to plein air painting every day in JUNE!!!

This night, the moon was peeking out from heavy clouds on my street. Our new LED streetlights make the streets almost as light as day - it is strange. I love watching clouds fly by at night - evening skycaps are riveting to me.

Every year until Covid hit, I would travel to Maine to Plein Air paint with friends in June.
We will be back this year, but postponed it until September to be extra safe. Cannot wait!
